On March 19 we demonstrate at 8 cities across Greece and all across Europe, so that the movement of solidarity with the refugees wins and to defeat racism, Islamophobia and the fascist threat.
The cry of solidarity with the refugees will echo with rallies in Athens, Thessaloniki, Patra, Chania, Ioannina, Xanthi, Mytilene and Volos.
It will echo loudly with strong rallies in London, Glasgow, Cardiff, Amsterdam, Paris, Vienna, Copenhagen, Dublin, Barcelona, Zurich, Warsaw and Nicosia. In Turkey, the movement demonstrates on the anniversary of Nevroz, the Kurdish Spring and stands in solidarity against the bombing of the Kurdish territories by Erdogan.
On March 19, we put our foot down against the NATO invasion of the Aegean sea, so we do not have to mourn again drowned children, mothers and fathers. Those who spread and are spreading death with bombs in Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria, together with Russia and the EU, cannot become border guards in the Aegean sea. That way they will drive more people in the hands of the human traffickers, more expensive and dangerous crossings into Europe.
La KEERFA et les communautés Sénégalaise et Guinéenne vous invitent à une réunion d’information sur la journée internationale de mobilisation contre le racisme et le fascisme du 19 Mars à 15h
CALL FOR 19TH OF MARCH, INTERNATIONAL DAY OF ACTION AGAINST RACISM AND FASCISM*
Across Europe we are witnessing an unrelenting racist offensive against refugees, Muslims, Jews and migrant workers. Thousands of refugees are stuck in squalid conditions not fit for humans without proper shelter.
The racist reaction against refugees is leading to a rise in racist, Islamophobic and anti-Semitic attacks. In Europe Austerity has meant a fall in living standards for the 99%. Refugees, Muslims and migrant workers are wrongly scapegoated for this.
In the 1930s it was the Jews scapegoated for the economic hardship during the Great Depression. We have been here before and know where this can lead. We stand against all forms of oppression: racism, sexism, Islamophobia, anti-Semitism homophobia and fascism.
We oppose Europe of fences, concentration camps , racism and interventions in Middle East, Africa and Asia We call on all progressive people in Europe, that think all human beings should be treated equally, with respect and dignity, to march in solidarity to commemorate UN Anti-Racist Day on Saturday 19 March.
We say refugees are welcome here - stand up to racism, Islamophobia, anti-Semitism and fascism

From Evros to Calais, we went out to the streets demonstrating against the fences.
It was only the beginning! We continue with a new international mobilization on March 19th!
The two-day international action called by KEERFA on 23 and January 24 calling to "bring down the fences, open the borders of the racist Fortress Europe" was successful, with a massive response from Evros to Calais. Over two thousand in Evros and three thousand in Calais, were the people that were present at the streets and events. It was a direct response to the horror of forty-three drowned in the Aegean on Friday 22/1 - among them seventeen children.

Evros-Calais-Lampedusa-Istanbul.
Joint International day of Actions.
We are getting ready to flood the streets of Alexandroupolis on January 23 and 24, to put an end to drowning of the children refugees in the icy waters of the Aegean Sea.
On the same day in Lampedusa and Calais the refugee and migrant solidarity movements are raising their voices and joining actions against the barriers of Frontex and against the closed borders!
We are glad because we are coordinating with the movement in Turkey. Turkish and Kurdish militants demonstrate on January 23 in Istanbul.
On the 24th we have a militant rendezvous TOGETHER at the borders on both sides at the Kipi of Evros river.
We come together to demand that the hundreds of thousands of refugees and migrants who fall in the hands of traffickers and loaded onto rotten boats, have the right to come to Greece through open borders so as not to risk their life. They have the right to life!

AND ON THE BORDER (KIPI OF EVROS) ON 24/1/2016
We are marching together with the great majority of Greek people, with the thousands of people who are welcoming refugees, with the refugee mothers who, with their children in their arms and using only their bodies, have forced open the closed borders of the racist Fortress Europe for the first time.
We will go to the city of Alexandroupolis to demonstrate in protest of the fence on the border of Greece and Turkey, picking up the torch carried by the great demonstrations of solidarity with refugees that have shaken Europe this year.
