On March 16th, movements from 12 countries call for a global uprising to stop racism and fascists. We are outraged by the cruel crimes of the Trump and the EU governments against migrants and refugees who pave the way for the rise of fascists. That’s why will we flood the streets in Athens, Thessaloniki, New York, Berlin, London, Vienna, Paris, Barcelona,Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Warsaw, Istanbul, Nicosia.
On March 16th, we are demonstrating so that the Golden Dawn murderers will be jailed, to speed up their trial and to sentence them for life. The murder of the Albanian land worker Petrit Zilfe in Corfu confirms tragically that as long they are moving freely posing as patriots, they are a danger to everyone.
On March 16th, workers who struggle for hiring tens of thousands of new recruits, for making permanent the jobs of provisional contract staff in schools, municipalities and hospitals, for Collective Agreements everywhere, we are demonstrating so that we will not let refugees and migrants, part of the working class, be turned into scapegoats and to work without rights or to be closed in concentration camps and to be secluded in the islands. The migrants are not responsible for unemployment and poverty, but the bankers, the ship owners and the industrialists, for whose profits the governments imposed the memorandums. The imperialists are to blame - who bombed and destroyed their countries.
On March 16th, we are demonstrating in unity ,students, teachers and parents, all of whom have not allowed the Far-right and the Right to put up provocative nationalist occupations of hatred for the neighboring peoples in Albania, Macedonia and Turkey. In our schools the refugee children are welcome and not neo-nazis, as are the struggles for public free education, not racism.
On March 16th, students who resist the dissolution of the public university by the laws and threats of Mitsotakis and Bakoyannis for the abolition of asylum, we will be on the streets with the banners of our unions and we will be demonstrating!
On March 16th, we are demonstrating along with migrant communities and refugees because for four years with the SYRIZA government we did not see any passage of legislation for the legalization of migrants - while on the contrary Amygdaleza and detention centers are full, refugees are secluded in open prisons-camps, deportations are being made by police at night in Evros, refugees are killed while persecuted by police in Egnatia highway. We are approaching elections with migrants always non-voting, their children awaiting citizenship, migrants from Pakistan not being able to get a certificate from the Hellenic Consulate in Islamabad - which thus blocks their every right! As for the first mosque, it will probably wait for even more years because the government are going in cahoots with the Church and Islamophobia is always rampant!
On March 16th, we are demonstrating for we do not forget that Zackie Kostopoulos' murder reminded us that the struggle to defend diversity and the conflict with sexism and the repression of LGBTQI, women and the disabled, is necessary to save lives and rights.
We call on trade unions, student unions, the Left and collectives in the neighborhoods, immigrant communities, the LGBTQI community, women's movements, disabled people's movements, the people of Letters and the Arts to be present with a loud voice in the global mobilization against racism and of fascism.

Thousands rise in Germany, Italy, Austria, Britain not to let fascism pass and for the winning of solidarity with the refugees against the Fortress-Europe.
Together with this new hopeful movement, the anti-fascist movement in Greece showed the power that can crush the fascists. On September 15 and 18, thousands flooded the streets at the five years anniversary since the assassination of Pavlos Fissas, at the same time responding to the new EU racist agreements that adopt the Trump agenda but also claiming that the completion of the Golden Dawn trial will mean that neo-Nazi assassins will go to jail. Working people, students, migrants, refugees from the camps, artists, women and LGBTQI, along with KEERFA gave a potent presence in Syntagma square on 15 September. Now we have to discuss how we organize the follow-up.
The dashing entrance of the anti-fascist and anti-racist movement in Europe this summer over the challenges of neo-Nazis and the racist policies of governments has shown that there exists the power that can block their way so that we do not return to the nightmares of the prevalence of Nazism and fascism of the interwar era.
In Germany, 65,000 flooded the streets of Chemnitz to drive away the neo-Nazis. Together with the ones in Hamburg, Berlin and Frankfurt, thousands protest against Seehofer, Merkel's interior minister, who closes the border to refugees with outposts and detention centers.
In London, more than a million protesters declared Trump unwelcome, and undesirable racism, Islamophobia, sexism; then continued with a anti-fascist movement against fascists masked as "Democratic football fans", in reality fans of the fascist Robinson, who perform racist attacks.
In Austria, anti-fascists besieged EU ministers' meetings against closed borders, demanding that solidarity bridges be built - rather than walls.
In Italy, the far-right Interior Minister Salvini, who prevents the refugees' ships that are salvaged in the Mediterranean from docking in Italian ports, is being besieged by anti-racist protesters in one city after another. Together they are preparing a nationwide anti-fascist demonstration in Rome.
The International Meeting and the Pan-Hellenic Assembly on 13 October are a way to organize the battles together, coordinate them across Europe and scale them up. Golden Dawn, despite the isolation imposed by the trial for three and a half years, attempts with the mask of “Warrior for Macedonia” to escape the power of the movement. We have to continue the campaign for the trial-conviction, but also to prevent the neo-Nazis from engaging in attacks on our neighborhoods.
At the same time, we have to struggle to put an end to the disgrace of Moria at Lesvos and all the miserable EU agreements that turn the Mediterranean into a wet grave for thousands of refugees. We are struggling to open the borders, to bring all refugees to cities, to provide them with asylum, shelter, education and health.
We call on unions, student associations, grassroots movements, immigrant and refugee communities, movements of women, LGTBQI, disabled, on people of the arts and letters to support the International Meeting and the Pan-Hellenic Assembly.
Together we have the strength to win.

Des milliers se soulèvent en Allemagne, en Italie, en Autriche, en Grande-Bretagne pour ne pas laisser passer le fascisme et pour que la solidarité au réfugiés vainque contre l’Europe-forteresse.
Avec ce nouveau mouvement plein d’espoir, le mouvement antifasciste en Grèce a montré où est la force qui peut en finir avec les fascistes. Les 15 et 18 Septembre, des milliers ont inondé les rues pour les 5 ans depuis l’assassinat de Pavlos Fyssas, donnant une réponse aux nouveaux accords racistes de l’U.E. qui adoptent l’agenda de Trump, mais aussi revendiquant que termine le procès de l’Aube Dorée avec les assassins néonazis en prison. Travailleurs, étudiants, immigrés, refugies des camps, artistes, femmes et LGBTQ avec la KEERFA ont participé de manière dynamique a Syndagma le 15 Septembre. Nous devons maintenant discuter de comment nous organisons la suite.
L’entrée massive du mouvement antifasciste et antiraciste en Europe cet été face aux provocations des néonazis mais aussi des politiques racistes des gouvernements, a montré que la force existe qui peut leur barrer la route afin de ne jamais retourner au cauchemar du nazisme et du fascisme des années ’30.

In Europe and America, the racist far right and the fascists are growing stronger because of the policies of governments that openly play the card of racism while continuing the policies of fierce austerity. The rise of Trump with the vulgar racist policies of child separation from mothers, the attack on Muslims, has inflated the fascist sails everywhere.
Governments turn migrants and refugees into scapegoats to escape their own responsibilities for their bankrupt recipes of austerity and imperialist interventions in the countries of Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
Trump’s policies are now becoming EU policies. The EU's racist agreement on 28 June with the announcement of closed concentration camps, of "disembarking platforms" – floating prisons, of mass deportations, amounts to a disorderly retreat by traditional parties to far right pressures.
The far right has greater potential as it is in ministries in the governments of Italy and Austria, it is the main opposition in Germany, while defining the policies of the governments of East Europe. Fortress Europe turns the Mediterranean into a water graveyard for thousands of refugees trying to escape from wars, poverty and oppression.
Such retreats effectively accelerate the rise of the far right and fascists rather than stem it. It is urgent to strengthen resistance and coordinate it across Europe and internationally to stop the threat of fascism and the new racist campaign in Europe that grows it.
It is hopeful that new mass movements against racism and fascism are growing everywhere, as in Germany, Austria, France, Britain, Italy and the USA. Thousands protest against Trump, fascists and racists in every corner of Europe and the United States.
The international day of action on 17 March 2018 showed the potential for international coordination of the movement.
The struggle against the neonazis of Golden Dawn, who, encouraged by the nationalist rallies on Macedonia, threatened with a coup from the podium of the Parliament, escalates as the culmination of the trial of the murderers of Pavlos Fyssas and Shahzat Luqman approaches. It is time to put them to jail, to shut down all their offices-lairs!
The struggle to tear down the walls of the Fortress Europe, for open borders for the victimized, for asylum and shelter for refugees, to repel Islamophobia, antisemitism, sexism, is a priority for the workers and youth movement that fight against austerity and cuts.
We invite you to participate and support the International Meeting and the Pan-Hellenic Assembly on 13 October in Athens. It is a big step forward in organizing antifascist and antiracist mobilizations and in international coordination.

Il faut les annuler ! Ce sont les politiques qui ont ouvert la voie à l’extrême-droite et aux fascistes dans toute l’Europe.
Les images d’horreur des marchés d’esclaves migrants Africains en Libye, retransmis par le CNN ont choqué des millions de gens. Depuis 2015, quand l’U.E. a signe l’accord avec la Turquie pour bloquer le chemin des Balkans et fermer le passage par la mer Egée, des milliers d’Africains qui fuyaient ont été poussés vers le passage le plus dangereux vers l’Europe, des cotes de Libye vers l’Italie. Et dans les iles de la mer Egée des milliers de réfugiés ont été enfermés dans des camps de rétention, alors qu’il leur a été interdit de rejoindre le continent.

Convocatòria de mobilització internacional el 17 de març de 2018, Dia paneuropeu de mobilització contra el racisme i el feixisme
El desenvolupament i el reforç del moviment antiracista i antifeixista és una batalla política central a nivell internacional.
La crisi econòmica i política de llarga durada està provocant una polarització que s'ha anat ampliant durant l'últim any. Vam veure als neonazis tornant-se arrogants als Estats Units després de la victoria de Trump i les exclusions racistes contra migrants, refugiats i musulmans. Vam veure a Le Pen a les eleccions franceses que passaven a la segona fase i arribaven al 30%. Vam veure al AfD entrar al Parlament alemany. Vam veure la FPO a Àustria reclamant la presidència amb un alt percentatge i aumentant. Més recentment, els nostalgia de Franco van sortir als carrers d'Espanya.Però també vam veure massives manifestacions antifeixistes a Boston i San Francisco, França, Alemanya, Àustria i Suècia. Vam veure mobilitzacions de solidaritat amb els refugiats i contra l'islamofòbia a Gran Bretanya, Barcelona i Grècia. El 18 de març, vàrem coordinar amb èxit un dia d'acció a escala europea.
L'amenaça feixista és resolta mitjançant per l'acció unitària i massiva dels sindicats, el moviment obrer i juvenil, que la classifiquen en les seves prioritats.
Ara estem promovent demandes d'un moviment massiu anti-racista i antifeixista.
Defensem els immigrants i els refugiats. Demanem l'abolició de l'acord racista UE-Turquia i UE-Líbia per acabar amb l'ofegament al Mediterrani i abolir la negativa al dret d'asil. Obriu les fronteres, la llibertat de circulació des de les illes de l'Egeu fins al continent, tanque els camps de concentració i atureu les deportacions. Estem en contra de les intervencions i guerres imperialistes i defensem els drets civils democràtics.
Lluitem als barris i als carrers per acabar amb els brutals atacs de partits feixistes i d'extrema dreta a tot arreu. Construïm una resistència massiva a per destruir el racisme i l'amenaça feixista, per deixar el camí obert a l'alternativa dels treballadors, per a un món sense pobresa, guerres, explotació, sense neonazis i racisme.Fem una crida a la mobilització internacional el 17 de març de 2018, dia de mobilització paneuropea contra el racisme i el feixisme, l'islamofòbia i l'antisemitisme.

The development and reinforcement of the anti-racist and anti-fascist movement is a central political battle internationally. The long-running economic and political crisis is causing polarization that has widened over the last year.We saw the neonazis getting arrogant in the United States after the election of Trump and the racist exclusions against migrants, refugees and Muslims. We saw Le Pen in the French elections passing to the second round and reaching 30%. We saw AfD entering the German Parliament. We saw the FPO in Austria claiming the presidency with a high percentage and rising. More recently, those npstalgic for Franco came out into the streets of Spain.
But we also saw massive antifascist demonstrations in Boston and San Francisco, France, Germany, Austria and Sweden. We saw solidarity mobilizations with refugees and against Islamophobia in Britain, Barcelona and Greece. On March 18, we successfully coordinated a European-wide day of action.
The fascist threat is dealt with by the unifying and massive action of the trade unions, the workers' and the youth movement, which rank it high in their priorities.
We are now promoting demands for a massive anti-racist and anti-fascist movementWe defend migrant and refugees. We are demanding the abolition of the EU-Turkey and EU-Libya racist agreement to end the drowning in the Mediterranean and abolish the refusal of right to asylum. Open the borders, freedom of movement from the Aegean islands to the mainland, close the concentration camps and stop the deportations.We are against imperialist interventions and wars and we defend democratic civil rights.
We fight in the neighborhoods and streets to put an end to the brutal attacks of fascist and far-right parties everywhere.We build massive resistance to smash racism and the fascist threat, to leave the road open to the workers alternative, for a world without poverty, wars, exploitation, without neo-Nazis and racism.
We call for international mobilization on 17 March 2018, a pan-European mobilization day against racism and fascism, Islamophobia and anti-Semitism.

Quatre ans après l’assassinat de Pavlos Fyssas, nous sommes des milliers à avoir rempli la place Syndagma le 16 Septembre et marché jusqu’aux bureaux centraux de Chrissi Avgi (Aube Dorée), exigeant la fermeture de ces lieux de lancements d’assassinats perpétrés par les néonazis. Travailleurs, étudiants, lycéens, migrants, gens de gauche et des mouvements, nous avons montré que unis nous pouvons aller de l’avant. Le procès de l’Aube Dorée va vers sa fin et nous avons montré que nous pouvons en finir avec eux.
La rencontre internationale et l’assemblée panhellénique contre le racisme et le fascisme les 14-15 Octobre, est la prochaine étape pour continuer victorieusement. Avec nous seront présent-e-s des militant(e)s de toute la Grèce, ainsi que des Etats-Unis, d’ Allemagne, de France, de Grande-Bretagne, de Catalogne, d’Autriche et d’autres pays, pour discuter et organiser ensemble les nouvelles luttes.
