On August 12, a fascist murdered a 32-year old antifascist woman Heather Heyer, when he drove his car into antifascist protesters in the city Charlottesville in Virginia in the US. Dozens of protesters have been injured.
The fascists of Ku Klux Klan and "alt right" had called a gathering of hatred against blacks and in favor of white supremacy in response to the deposition of the governor of the state bust of General Robert Lee, head of the Southern racist army during the American civil war.
The sacrifice of Heather Heyer, who stood up to the fascist killer by participating in the antifascist demonstration shows how strong is the other America of resistance to Trump, who is pouring racist poison paving the way for the actions of the neo-Nazis.
We express our condolences to the family of murdered Heather Heyer and our full solidarity in the anti-fascist movement and the movement against racial discrimination and sexism in the US.After the rise of Trump Muslims, the LGTBQI community, Jews, blacks, women and immigrants are targeted by the new President of the World. It is the other side of the attack on the poor in the US, but also the escalating threats and warfare and warmongering across the Planet.
In Greece, the Neo-Nazi action of the USA is supported by Golden Dawn, who also celebrated the victory of the new planet-arch Trump. They even tried to take advantage of his victory to come back from the isolation that the movement sent them after the murder of antifascist hip hop artist Pavlos Fyssas. In the four years since the assassination of the anti-fascist the movement is preparing to escalate with an antifascist demonstration at the headquarters of the neo-Nazis of the Golden Dawn murderers on Saturday the 16th of September.
The murder of Heather Heyer is a dramatic warning about the escalation of the fascist threat, as their strengthening in the heart of the most powerful capitalism threatens to become a center of support for every fascist and racist force in Europe and the whole world.
That is why solidarity needs to be strengthened in the anti-fascist and anti-racist movement in the United States. Now the fascists stand up and murder to keep in their place all that reminds them of the slavery of blacks in the US. It is our turn internationally not to give them an inch, but to crush them everywhere.--
