ΚΙΝΗΣΗ ΕΝΩΜΕΝΟΙ ΕΝΑΝΤΙΑ ΣΤΟ ΡΑΤΣΙΣΜΟ ΚΑΙ ΤΗ ΦΑΣΙΣΤΙΚΗ ΑΠΕΙΛΗ

ΑΝΑΚΟΙΝΩΣΕΙΣ ΣΧΕΤΙΚΑ ΜΕ ΤΗΝ ΑΝΑΚΟΙΝΩΣΗ ΤΟΥ ΥΠΕΞ ΓΙΑ ΤΡΟΜΟΚΡΑΤΙΚΗ ΑΠΕΙΛΗ ΚΑΙ ΙΡΑΝΟΥΣ ΠΟΛΙΤΙΚΟΥΣ ΠΡΟΣΦΥΓΕΣ

This is an announcement made by the Iranian Political Asylum Seeker's Campaign in Athens Propylea
As we have mentioned many times before we are political Iranian people who have escaped Iran due to the violence of the of Islamic government that brutally tortures, stones and execute its own citizens who seek freedom and democracy!
Ever since we started the Campaign at Propeilea Academy in Athens, we announced that we believe in peace and freedom. We have started a peaceful strike and continued it for 44 days, but since the Greek government did not reply to our request the members of the campaign went on hunger strike and some of them sewed their mouth. This means that “our closed lips are a response to the silence of the Greek government about our asylum”.
As the members of the Campaign we declare that we condemn strongly and absolutely any type of violence toward all Greek embassies, all Greek institutions of any type and all Greek citizens in Greece and all over the world.
We would like to respond to the statement made by the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs on October 18th 2010, according to which, measures of protection should be taken in all Greek embassies in all countries. Because a telephone call was made to the Greek Consulate in Los Angeles and the person who called said that he represented a non mentioned Iranian organization, then he threatened to attack the personnel and the buildings of the Greek diplomatic missions in other countries.
We declare once again everyone who speaks on our behalf or as our friend and threatens with violence reactions, is against our silent strike. Because our strike is all about us being closer to the Greek people and the public democratic opinion all over the world. Our means are and will be peaceful until the end of our strike.
We wonder why there was a telephone call on the 13th, since we started our hunger strike on the 14th. We also wonder that if there is any relations between this telephone call in Los Angeles and the meeting between the Iran's Head Commander of the police with Greek Head Commander of the Police in Athens, on 13th of October where they discus among others subjects about the Iranian immigrants in Greece.
2.Οι δικηγόροι Φραγκίσκος Ραγκούσης και Ευγενία Κουνιάκη δήλωσαν:

«Με γκαιμπελίστικες μεθόδους δημιουργίας κλίματος ανησυχίας εκδηλώνεται η κρατική βία και τρομοκρατία.
Καταγγέλλουμε τις ενέργειες αυτές που έχουν σκοπό να σπιλώσουν και να αποπροσανατολίσουν το δικαίωμα στη ζωή και την αυτοδιάθεση των Ιρανών.
Καταγγέλλουμε επίσης κάθε προσπάθεια από τους αρμοδίους της ελληνικής κυβέρνησης τέτοιων στρατηγικών που προσπαθούν να αμαυρώσουν ειρηνικούς αγώνες για το αυτονόητο, το πολιτικό άσυλο.»

Δήλωση Πέτρου Κωνσταντίνου, συντονιστή κίνησης Ενωμένοι Ενάντια στο Ρατσισμό και τη Φασιστική Απειλή και υποψήφιου Δήμαρχου Αθήνας με την Ανταρσία στις Γειτονιές της Αθήνας:
«Δεν γνωρίζουμε πόσο πραγματική είναι η απειλή για τρομοκρατικές επιθέσεις στα ελληνικά προξενεία από τις πληροφορίες του Υπουργείου Εξωτερικών, αυτό που γνωρίζουμε όμως  είναι πόσο κινδυνεύουν οι ζωές των Ιρανών πολιτικών προσφύγων που έχουν αρχίσει να μπαινοβγαίνουν στα νοσοκομεία μετά από λιποθυμικά επεισόδια έχοντας προχωρήσει στη πέμπτη μέρα απεργία πείνας με ραμμένα στόματα.
Ας μην χρησιμοποιείται λοιπόν η τρομοκρατική απειλή ως άλλοθι για να μην δοθεί λύση στο αίτημα των Ιρανών πολιτικών προσφύγων και να αιτιολογηθεί μια άκαρδη πολιτική που αδιαφορεί ακόμη και όταν μια νέα γυναίκα ράβει το στόμα της.
Καλούμε στη συνέχιση των μαζικών και ειρηνικών εκδηλώσεων αλληλεγγύης στο αίτημα των Ιρανών προσφύγων για πολιτικό άσυλο σε όλο τον Πλανήτη.»
