On March 19 we demonstrate at 8 cities across Greece and all across Europe, so that the movement of solidarity with the refugees wins and to defeat racism, Islamophobia and the fascist threat.
The cry of solidarity with the refugees will echo with rallies in Athens, Thessaloniki, Patra, Chania, Ioannina, Xanthi, Mytilene and Volos.
It will echo loudly with strong rallies in London, Glasgow, Cardiff, Amsterdam, Paris, Vienna, Copenhagen, Dublin, Barcelona, Zurich, Warsaw and Nicosia. In Turkey, the movement demonstrates on the anniversary of Nevroz, the Kurdish Spring and stands in solidarity against the bombing of the Kurdish territories by Erdogan.
On March 19, we put our foot down against the NATO invasion of the Aegean sea, so we do not have to mourn again drowned children, mothers and fathers. Those who spread and are spreading death with bombs in Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria, together with Russia and the EU, cannot become border guards in the Aegean sea. That way they will drive more people in the hands of the human traffickers, more expensive and dangerous crossings into Europe.
On March 19, we stand against the racist Fortress Europe, of the fences, of the sealed borders and concentration camps. Instead of opening the borders to welcome those persecuted and fleeing wars, the EU treats them as an invading enemy. They send gunboats to drown families, women and children.
On March 19 we are demonstrating, so that refugees and migrants can have rights, shelter, work, food, healthcare, and not to be hunted by the police to be locked up in concentration camps.
On March 19, we raise our stature against the neonazi criminal gang Golden Dawn and their lot all across Europe. We are enraged because the murderer of Pavlos Fyssas, Roupakias is no longer in jail. We damand the trial continue, to convict the neonazis so they go to jail for life. We do not allow them to pass as a legitimate party that spreads racist venom and "citizen's committees" by Roupakias-types in our neighbourhoods.
On March 19, workers, students, peasants, we continue our fight against the memoranda, and of the slaughterhouse-pensions bill, against cuts and the selling off of the ports by embracing the struggle against racism. We do not accept that migrants will become scapegoats for the acts of the politicians who sow poverty.
